I really think the only wings you will see/get are when you are casting spells or chants, because if they give you static wings that are attached to your back they would have issues with other classes wanting something they can show off too (and you know people will ).

I hope the wings are limited to casting animation. I would hate it if my Paragon had wings all the time, it would look rediculous.

Sort of like the male necro hunchedback? Or the female ele's ET-like neck? Etc.
Don't rely on rediculousness/hideousness to save us
I wouldn't mind if they somehow incorporated it as a feature of the headpiece since you have the option to turn that off.

I wanted wings, the Magnorite Paragon has wings, and that was shown in the gameplay video of Nightfall. ANyways, if you really want wings for your paragon... give him some redbull?

Glowing eyes and wings...
"Look, guys! im a god! über leet!"
Adding those would look pretty lame. Especially wings. Random n00bs would prefer them just for the looks. How it feels to see stupid comments from players which have glowing eyes and wings? Adding wings to FoW armor would increase the amount of eBayers, that is sure.

Now I know WoW is apparently evil (hmm lol) and all that...however one thing I really think they've done well is making high level armor (aka our 15k / FOW) look good and stand out. On the subject of wings, I think something similar to what they did on the priest "Faith" Tier 3 set might fit quite well:
More particle effects on armor ftw! heh

Nah..mounts would require too much effort on their part and we know how that goes.

That's where I got too, and it made more sense to me, I played a male Paragon during the PvP weekend and generally their skill animations were... goofy.
Now a lot of that would be explained (and might come into balance) if some wings were involved and made them move that way. Either way though I have to look at a female Paragon...
So why is it there are usually MANY more viable options for the ladies, but usually only a couple, if your lucky, for the guys? With simply ugly/alien/freakish taking the lionshare out of the choices?
This is any chapter for the most part, and there are exceptions... I suppose.
But I see my male monks face everywhere (and I rerolled in Cantha) and my warrior the helmet always shows.
And my necro... well he's a necro ok

This random noob here would like wings though i doubt it will be likely. And yes i will work towards it with ingame means even if it's only on FoW. And what is it to you anyways since we all know its a game of skill not looks Riiiiiight?? Since when have we started to care about what others brag about themselves on this forum or in games anyways.

Well theres mentions of a quest/misson which we will be able to use wurms as temporary mounts and as part of the gameplay in Nightfall. I have made similar suggestions when there was debates about mounts at one point in time as well.
Sorry but Narrow mindness and Pseudo Altruistic posts that try to dictate how a game should or should not be, is disgusting and a discussion killer.
Edit for grammer.
